How do you get your hair to be like that?

4 triniwwee December 15, 2009 at 7:42 pm

Matt’s right I buy from his store all the time. You won’t have to buy that stuff all the time because it lasts sooooo long. Your body gets the nutrients it needs quicker on raw foods so you dont eat as much. It does in fact come out cheaper. I made that mulberry cake. Actually eating it right now lol. i only had a few spoonfulls and I’m good. If it’s just you , dont make too much because it goes a long way.

waiting on feedback from someone else that makes it and tastes it….hate to make yet another recipe that i have to throw out cuz i cant choke it down….no offense, just having a hard time transitioning to raw.

thanks I’ll try this recipe, I like the cashew cream cheese but open to try new stuff. I ordered ALL the breads and my son has eaten ALL the breads. the rye went bad pretty fast so I had to throw out the last three slices. for the most part it is not expensive as long as you limit the gourmet raw and the dehydrated package stuff. I have my own dehydrator so it is easier on my budget. I love to order from The Raw Food World.

Good idea, I found out that the yum pot was not to my taste, as well as the raw vanoffe chocolate, both items was recommended and loved by Angela, Shes awsome and all, but I am going to watch out for what she sais she loves the taste of, in the future :D Ive learned my lesson xD Luckily the yumpot powders taste good in smoothies :)

Okay I JUST made this. This is not to be rude for matt and ange, I know you must love it but: I used dulce flakes cus I ordered the worng type, not the whole leaf but I thought it might taste okay, It tasted, in my opinion, very very bad. It went right down the sink when I tasted it a few times:) I put only 4 dates in to one avo, but it still tasted sooo sweet it was horrible :p Maybe you guys have weird Raw taste buds I dont have yet, I just know that I will never do this one again xD

I want to order some dulse.
Problem is I lost my taste for seafood years ago and now whenever I try some kind of seaweed it has a fishy taste to it.
Is the dulse you sell free of fishy taste?
Thanks

ROFL. I love how Angela uses a falsetto voice to ask questions “from the public.”

Thanks RLW, I was guessing this combo might take a more raw vegan experienced palate to enjoy the taste.

i don’t know where you shop, but an organic apple here is about $2-3… a piece one fig is about $2 – one passion fruit is $3

13 RawLifeWorld December 16, 2009 at 3:51 pm

Or maybe they have different cream cheezes in USA that what I am used to in Australia or Denmark :D Waaay too sweet for me though xD I like cheeses that have a bite to it, a sharpness, though not too much ^^

14 RawLifeWorld December 16, 2009 at 3:52 pm

Wow, and my mum sais fruit and green is expencive in DK o.O that’s insane…

whew! a few people who don’t like this recipe have commented! in response to them – YES, it takes time to develop a raw vegan palate. and, we all have our personal tastes. for example, all my life i have HATED avocado, coconut, cinnamon, lemon, strawberries and raw tomatoes. but after 18 months of raw eating, i’m now ENJOYING avocado and coconut. don’t think i will ever enjoy raw tomato or lemon, though! i just eat what i enjoy and am grateful for all of it. gratitude is hugely important!

by the way …. angela and matt …… because i still dislike the taste of lemon but SALIVATE over lime …. will it alter the flavour balance if i substitute lime for lemon in these enticing recipes of yours? please answer this question in one of your videos???? it may seem trivial, but it’s a “burning question” of mine.

18 triniwwee December 16, 2009 at 10:23 pm

@blueberryandcacao Go to Trader Joes if you have one near you. I get a bag of organic apples (12 -15) for 1.99-2.99. Some people try to take advantage of the situation. I always shop around. Figs there are about 3$ a container (with maybe 15 or more) there too. I also shop at whole foods. Regular markets are more money. (sometimes)

19 triniwwee December 16, 2009 at 10:27 pm

I’ll try half this recipe only when I get the bread. I already ordered it. Maybe the combination will be fine. Too many people are saying it tastes bad lol. But I’ll try it.

I love your videos! I just wanted to know if matt knew of any natural hair treatments? His hair would look amazing if he tamed the frizz. The color, length and texture is great, but it looks dry.

21 rawgoddessadrienne December 28, 2009 at 8:07 am

I ADORE the yumpots, and playing around with different ingredients! A lot of times I put in a banana as well SO delicious!

22 lorimunn December 28, 2009 at 3:24 pm

Order Bulk online if you can; and forget buying locally. I had the same problem when I visited Arkansas with Whole Foods 2 hours away and any local health food store was outrageous plus locally everything seemed dead. I am lucky because here in Florida I can get Organic Apples for $1.69 lb

23 triniwwee December 30, 2009 at 10:00 pm

I don’t know about Matt, but I use natural hair stuff they sell at the raw food world. I use their MSM shampoo and conditioner, then I mix the coconut oil, shea butter and hemp seed oil and I do a hot oil treatment then rince. They’re all raw/organic at their store.

ooohhhh this looks sssoooooooo good…!!! =)~

I put lemon with my kale juice because it takes away the green taste. Although I don’t like avocado, I think the lemon would balance out the taste to make it taste less green. I’m going to have to try this one. Thanks!
